Content of the course:
* ADEX Dental Examination series components:
* Computer-based
In this part you will have online classes reviewing clinical cases and oral medicine content in order to have knowledge to practice and pass the exam. We will practice some examples of clinical cases)
* Diagnostic Skills Examination (DSE OSCE)
In this part you will review information to have the abilities to recognize clinical conditions and situations encountered regularly in the general practice of dentistry, and identify the appropriate treatment options.
* Clinical section Theory and Hand on
* Fixed Prosthodontic Examination (Bench test prep)
In this section involves a simulated patient examination focusing on fixed dental restorations, including crown preparations, bridge abutments, and evaluation of line of draw.
You will receive a guide and orientation with specifications that are required to pass this evaluation. Include practicing and corrections with a Tutor.
* Endodontic Examination
An endodontic evaluation will examine the tooth roots and pulp where the nerve of the tooth is located. If there is damage to the tooth, it must be examined to determine whether or not endodontic treatment, such as a root canal or non-vital pulp therapy, is required.You will receive a guide and orientation with specifications that are required to pass this evaluation. Include practicing and corrections with a Tutor.
* Periodontal Examination
This section of the course orientation with a tutor includes a periodontal clinical examination, which evaluates skills like calculus detection, removal, and tissue management, using a typodont and other clinical materials.
- Reinforcing Clinical Skills:
Acquiring the ability to perform periodontal procedures, including:
- Detect and remove calculus
- Measure periodontal pocket depth
- Manage tissues during procedures
- Diagnosis and Treatment Planning:
How to evaluate acquiring knowledge, skills, and abilities in diagnosis and treatment planning related to periodontal health.
